Xango Testimonials

why there are no Xango testimonials on the web...

or anywhere else, for that matter

Because of recent FDA restrictions on testimonials for ALL natural products, whether it's:

Acai berry juices (from The Amazon)
Noni juice (from Tahiti) or
Hoodia extract (from Southern Africa)

...ANY specific claims of health benefits of ANY kind can now ONLY be made about FDA-approved drugs. To infer or state otherwise is to run the risk of being closed down. Consequently, Xango, like all other naturopathic, homeopathic or folk medicines such as:

Aloe Vera (burns & skin irritations)
Echinacea (the immune system)
St. John's Wort (depression et al)
Cider vinegar (multiple effects)
Tea-tree oil (anti-fungal, antiseptic)
Medicinal honey (anti-fungal, anti-bacterial & anti-viral), or possibly even
Garlic (anti-fungal, anti-bacterial & anti-viral)

...all of which have been used for centuries, (and are frequently sold in various forms around the world in chemists & drug stores), cannot legally provide testimonials claiming specific medicinal results. They can actually only claim that they may maintain health.

N.B.: If you listen to your televison ads carefully, it will be the same for vitamins and all activities such as Tai Chi, Yoga, aerobics, running etc.

In order for Xango to state that its product produces any specific medical results, Xango would need to be:

1 presented to the FDA as a drug

2 undergo clinical trials that would need to be carried out by an independent body

3 subsequently, only be administered by the medical profession

As a result, Xango Corporate cannot and will not make any medicinal claims about its product, nor encourage any mangosteen juice drinker or distributor to state otherwise, preferring to only suggest:

"Try it, you'll like it."

In fact, the official Xango website states simply:

"...Research shows xanthones possess potent antioxidant properties that may help

maintain intestinal health

strengthen the immune system

neutralize free radicals

help support cartilage and joint function

and promote a healthy seasonal respiratory system*..."

* not evaluated by the FDA etc.

So, if you find any Xango testimonials or even "mangosteen juice testimonials" on the internet, you should be aware that Xango officially makes no comment on any of their claims or inferences. What you should see is:

"...We are sorry, but we have had to permanently remove these materials. The Xango Distributor Education & Conduct division has asked those in charge of this site for its permanent removal..."
