At the time of writing, September 2007, AGLOCO's been around for a few months in pre-launch and has slowly got round to opening for business.
What is AGLOCO?
Well, AGLOCO is a shortened form of A Global Company and, if nothing else, it's a very interesting amalgamation of a No-cost Affiliate Marketing company that's integrated a number of internet-earning models under one roof.
In effect, it recreates ALL ADVANTAGE, the first Get Paid To Surf company, which paid out over $160 million to its members over two years (see wikipedia), before the dotcom crash-led US recession wiped them out. AGLOCO is a newer, much more tech-savvy and powerful model.

There are 3 obvious questions that need to be answered:
1 If I join, what do I have to do?
As you may have seen in the video, you have to download a toolbar which sits on the top or bottom of your screen (4 colors presently available). When you choose to use AGLOCO, you log into the toolbar, enter your name & password and surf through all your normal search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN etc.) Presently, your earning capacities are restricted to 5 hours a month, though of course, that will probably increase.
2 Where is the money coming from?
AGLOCO: How it works
The revenue is coming from a number of sources:
2.1 Software downloads. Software companies will pay AGLOCO for its users to download trial offers of software.
2.2 Service Distribution. Online service providers sych as eBay, Skype, and PayPal pay commissions for new users
2.3 Search engines are billion dollar businesses now! If you log into any of them, let's take Google, you'll notice the small classifed ads on your right. Those ads are called Adsense and every time you click one of those sponsored links, Google is earning Adsense income. Presently it's willing to pay AGLOCO about $0.10 every time an AGLOCO surfer just enters Google and if that surfer clicks on an Adsense ad, that also passes into AGLOCO's coffers. It's the same process with all the major search engines, so there's no change to your surfing habits.
2.4 Affiliate Commissions. If, in your searching, you make a purchase from a link that AGLOCO calls up, e.g. Amazon, a credit card or office supplies, actually virtually anything, that commission also enters the AGLOCO coffers.
2.5 And of course, AGLOCO's sponsors will be paying for the privelege as well
All of these financial sources add up, leading to the final question...
3 How will I get paid?
Well, there's the rub. Presently, there's no pay-out schedule, as such, merely the official statement that AGLOCO's earners will be paid after running costs have been met. However, in time, they believe that payments will go something like this:
N.B. Greenwald asks that you look at these figures for the math only, not as an indication of payouts:
Suppose in a given month AGLOCO distributes $100,000 for that month’s (dividends).
Also suppose that the total hours all Members have accumulated that month is 1,000,000 hours.
This means that AGLOCO would pay $0.10 for each hour you are credited with that month. So in this example if you had accumulated (yourself plus referrals) 500 hours that month, you would be paid $50

So, that's the AGLOCO story. You can't lose anything...and you might make a bit of cash, not much, admittedly, but it's something though I expect that payments will eventually be considerably higher than Mr. Greenwald's figures. If you have a network (or a website), there could be some fairly decent affiliate commissions, as well.
Presently, the toolbar is being rolled out in 50,000 member lots, so if you can't download it immediately, you will be able to, soon and remember, AGLOCO's FREE!
